Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation has obtained the certificate of conformity to the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, after passing the external audits successfully within the Istanbul office and Gaziantep office by SGS, an international accreditation authority. Thus, AHF is the first humanitarian organization to obtain a conformity certificate from an international accreditation authority that is registered in Turkey.

The preparations, which lasted for one full year, included building the quality management system documents, preparing and approving their policies, preparing and approving the work procedures and training the participants on the requirements of the system and the implementation mechanism. This was followed by the launch of the trial system and then the internal auditing to ensure the effectiveness of the system applied.

In addition, the administration of the internal audit team was approved to ensure the effective implementation of the QMS system, where the external training was conducted by the accrediting party.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation has implemented the quality management system in order to ensure the achievement of the vision and goals of the Foundation to perform better in accordance with the principles and requirements of humanitarian action.
