AHF is a non-governmental organization contribute in the provision of humanitarian services and social development programs to build and empower the Syrian community through organizational efficiency and effective partnership.

Job Purpose:

•Responsible for managing and implementing early recovery and economic empowerment project carried in Syria and Turkey, ensuring that the project’s objectives are kept on track, monitor monthly spending on ongoing & planned activities within the approved budget, ensuring documentation and implementation in accordance with the requirements of management and donors, submitting transparent periodic reports, composing project proposals to develop the early recovery program, have the ability to lead the team through distance administration.
•He/She will also be responsible for providing the technical support required for the project and contribution in conducting a needs assessment of local communities, provide technical design for early recovery program proposals and technical guidance to field teams in addition to coordinating small projects, training, and capacity building projects for youth and rehabilitation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•supervising the project’s implementation progress and ensure the quality of the achieved work.
•Design work plans in accordance with the project’s specific goals and in a timely manner.
•Ensure keeping documenting the files of the project’s workers and activities appropriately throughout the project life in forms that comply with the organization, donors, and partner’s requirement.
•Prepare the required reports that are related to the project, program manager, donors, and partners
•Internally liaise and regulate the information of project activities implementation on regular basis between the project manager, field teams and cooperate with relevant departments (programs – logistics – monitoring and evaluation proposals.
•Conduct interviews to select the project’s staff, in addition, to provide direct and sufficient support after recruitment.
•Represent the organization in relevant working groups, with stakeholders, and in coordination meetings, as needed. Keep a positive, constant, and clear presence for the organization, in addition, to build and develop good relationships with partners, local authorities, and stakeholders.
•Work closely to build partnerships with agencies and organizations in relevant areas to reach cooperation.
•Have the ability to assess community needs and requirements in terms of economic empowerment and capacity building.
•Contribution in conducting integrated multi-sectoral needs assessments.
•Design the appropriate vulnerability criteria for selecting beneficiaries in the region in addition to ensure community participation and transparency.
•Development of rehabilitation projects
•setting plans and studies for developmental projects that achieve integration between the early recovery sector and other organization sectors.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages):

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another related degree.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in project management in non-profit organizations.
•At least 2 years of experience in economic empowerment projects, training projects, small projects and rehabilitation projects.
•Comprehensive knowledge of feasibility studies for small and micro-projects.
•Strong knowledge in composing funding proposals, project life cycle, and preparing periodic and progress reports, in addition, to prepare budgets and operational plans for projects.
•Very good knowledge of international donors’ terms and their compliance requirements.
•Excellent computer skills in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
•The ability to conduct teamwork, mentoring, coordinating, following up, initiating, and developing the projects
•A very good command of effective communication and representation skills (oral and written).
•Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
•Analyzing and problem-solving skills.
•High degree of negotiation, persuasion, planning, and organizing skills
•the ability to work under pressure.

•Certificate in Project Management PMP or PMD Pro1
