As part of its vision and the mission it has set up for itself to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people and securing their needs while helping the Syrian society to recover and to increase productivity, and in order to boost humanitarian work in Syria. Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation represents the Syrian organizations that are based in Gaziantep hub, along with other three Syrian organizations in the Humanitarian Liaison Group (HLG).

This representation is meant to help take the right decisions to improve the humanitarian work in Syria for the benefit of the afflicted Syrian population. HLG is considered as the highest-in-rank representative organism for humanitarian action in Gaziantep – Turkey. It is concerned with taking important strategic decisions regarding humanitarian response in Syria and is led by UNOCHA and is composed of UN agencies, donors, Syrian and international organizations as well as many various humanitarian action sectors.
