The deputy governor of Kilis , Mr. Hakkan Yavuz Erduğan, visited the office of Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation in gaziantep city in order to facilitate the work of the humanitarian institutions inside syria in general and the areas of the euphrates shield in particular and provide the necessary support.

The meeting was attended by a number of humanitarian organizations Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation – Bina organization – Syria relief – Hand in Hand for Syria – Ihsan foundation – and Syria foundation for relief and development.

The meeting began with a speech by Mr. Hakkan Yavuz Erduğan on civil society organizations and their role in providing humanitarian, developmental and health services that meet the needs of our people at home and preserve their dignity and raise the capabilities of the Syrian civil society.

The meeting included agreement on several articles including:

The possibility of using Bab Al-Salama crossing if Bab Alhawa crossing has been closed; approval of work inside the Syrian border; and facilitation of entry and exit permits at the crossing. As well as an assessment of the needs in Syrian areas; and the possibility of transferring funds to Syria via PTT.

At the end, Mr. HaKKan confirmed the need for sharing the efforts in providing assistance and full coordination to ensure that aid reaches its beneficiaries and focus on the most stable and sustainable projects.
