Three projects that are operated by Al Sham Humanitarian Foundation in the area of besieged Eastern Ghouta were targeted by artillery shelling and bombardment by the Syrian regime and its allies on 24/02/2018. One of the facility was a kitchen which was used to prepare and cook ready cooked meals. It was targeted with an air strike that led to putting it out out of service, large part of it was destroyed, damaging the equipment inside and the materials stored inside it.

On 03/03/2018, fighter Syrian and Russian fighter jets targeted another  food distribution center that destroyed it and putting it completely out of service.

On 04/03/2018, an ambulance vehicle of the Al Sham Foundation Emergency services. The vehicle was carrying out its services and performing life saving activities to the sick and wounded. The target resulted in killing a patient and wounding one of the staff as well as destroying the car.

We at Al Sham Humanitarian Foundation demand all parties to the conflict to stop targeting the humanitarian and civilian facilities. We condemn the repeated violations and attacks on medical personnel and all facilities that provide life saving and humanitarian activities. We call upon all parties to the conflict to respect the Security Council Resolution 2139 and 2254, which call for an end to indiscriminate attacks and cessation of attacks against civilian targets.
