In the presence of the Board of Directors of Al- Sham Humanitarian Foundation and a number of global, international, Turkish and local institutions, Al- Sham Humanitarian Foundation (AHF) celebrated its achievements during 2017 and its obtaining the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Certificate in the Turkish city of Gaziantep on Monday 22 of this month.

The event organized by AHF included the receipt of Quality Certification by SGS International, besides reviewing the strategic plan for 2016-2017, evaluating its results, explaining the methodology of the projects and then evaluating their performance and assessing the risks and the stakeholders.

The meeting also reviewed the features of the next strategic plan and the operational plan, taking into consideration the changes that occur in humanitarian work inside and outside Syria.

It is worth mentioning that a number of the international figures and institutions attended the event, such as Mr. Ramesh Rajas Ingham of the United Nations, Dr. Ibrahim ALTAN, Director-General of the Turkish Red Crescent, and representatives of the Turkish General Emergency Relief and Emergency Service (AFAD). In conclusion, the meeting was concluded by honoring AHF’s employees inside and outside Syria, and presenting shields of honor to those employees making outstanding achievements, while encouraging the other employees to take the initiative and work hard to alleviate the suffering of Syrians inside and outside Syria.
