A delegation from the Bahraini Islamic Education Foundation’s Department of Relief and Projects visited Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation’s office in Istanbul. The delegation included the director of the department Mr. Jassim al-Maawda and a number of the Foundation’s employees.

The delegation’s visit aimed to develop forms of cooperation between the two institutions and discuss projects that aim to reduce the suffering of the Syrian people, especially the “Warm Winter” and foster care projects for orphans.

At the end of the visit, the Chairman of the Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation Board Mr. Mounir Zahra gave the Islamic Education Foundation an award for its efforts in supporting the Syrian people to remain steadfast during the humanitarian crisis.
