In light of the lack of general medical services and primary health care services in particular, Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation opened the Leen Polyclinic Medical Center jointly with the Leen Relief Organization on Wednesday October 14, 2015 in a central area of the northern countryside of Latakia. The northern region is divided into two regions, the Kurdish Mountain and the Turkman Mountain regions. The local population that will benefit from the project is around 30,000.
Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation has been keen to ensure that Leen Polyclinic Medical Center has a qualified and specialized staff equipped with the necessary medical equipment to provide comprehensive health care and medical services.
The Center provides primary health care services to the residents of the region. It consists of a children’s clinic and a women’s clinic as well as a room for first aid and pharmaceutical services where free medicines are provided to patients.
